Paul Coleman - President and CEO
Paul Coleman provides strategic and tactical guidance and direction for firms operating within the global finance and insurance marketplace.
He has proven expertise providing intermediary broker services, delivered measurable results in role of client/buyer for corporate multinationals and has recently focused on ushering innovative start-up projects into multimillion dollar enterprises.
Mr. Coleman earned a B.A. from McGill University, holds the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation, and is licensed for both Commercial and Personal Lines brokerage in multiple jurisdictions.
He presently holds and has occupied executive-level board seats on several industry and not-for-profit charitable organizations, and is a regular participant and speaker at professional and educational conferences.
He is an avid skier, golfer, and distance runner, and coaches youth hockey and soccer.
Ian Swain - Chief Operating Officer
As chief operating officer at TERN Financial Group, Ian Swain is responsible for the global operations of the company. His experience and leadership have been focused on developing and delivering technology-driven business services and solutions and providing outstanding client service.
Ian brings more than 30 years of financial services knowledge and experience to the company. He is an astute executive manager who prior to co-founding TERN Financial, served as Executive Vice President of Data Services at Statpro Inc., delivering financial data and services to the global institutional investment community.
In 2002, he founded Initram Data Inc., providing mission-critical data and services to the Custodian and Mutual Fund industries, later selling to the Statpro Group where he was appointed North American Board Director and managed the organization’s global data services.
Ian studied Mathematics and Computer Science at McGill University, is an active board member, community volunteer, and sails, curls and cross country skis in his leisure time.
